Goetta is a German breakfast sausage that combines the textures and flavors of pork, beef, whole grain steel-cut oats, onions, and spices. This is where the name of the festival comes from.
In 2022, Glier’s is bringing you 8 days of Goettafest. You will be given two full weekends of delicious Glier’s Goetta, live music and fun!
The festival will take place July 28-31 and August 4-7 at Newport’s Festival Park at the Levee. Admission is free and open to the public.

There are so many choices to pick from. I settled on the donut breakfast sandwich. It was so delicious and made with two whole donuts.
he problem with festivals is that even if you’re interested in the theme and what it has to offer, there’s only so many things you can do before you’re bored. You’ll become full eventually, and I’m not to into the cover bands and water dunking of local children. However, goettafest still receives 4 stars from me.
